Learn to Sew
Always wanted to sew but didn’t know where to start? Or maybe you’ve had a sewing machine sitting in the cupboard for years and just need someone to show you the ropes? I’ve got you.
I’m Lauren – a self-taught sewing nerd, who believes that anyone can sew with the right guidance and a little bit of patience (trust me, I have plenty of that!). I’ve been making, mending and creating since I got my first sewing machine for my twelfth birthday. So, I’m here to help you do the same – without the overwhelm or boring textbook.
The best way to learn to sew is with fun, hands-on lessons where you can ask a million questions, make mistakes, laugh (and learn) about them, and still go home with something you’re proud of.
Who My Lessons Are For
- Absolute beginners – “I’ve never touched a sewing machine before” (you can use one of my machines in the class if you haven’t decided on getting one yet)
- Improvers – People who can sew a bit but want to level up their skills
- Project-based learners – bring along something you’d like help with or a pattern you’d like to follow
- Hobbyists – looking to branch out into clothing, home décor, or upcycling
- Youngsters – kids and teens who want to learn more outside of school (perfect if parents don’t sew but want to encourage their child’s creativity)
